THREE armed men wearing balaclavas have robbed farmers and their domestic worker of cash and personal belongings, Limpopo police said.
They said the robbery took place on Henley Farm in Letsitele outside Tzaneen on Friday evening.
Provincial police spokesperson Ronnel Otto said the robbers entered plot 35 shortly after 19:00, tied up a 54 year-old domestic worker in her room and robbed her of her cell phone.
They then proceeded to the main house where they found a 46-year-old woman and her elderly parents.
The robbers took the trio’s undisclosed amount of cash, jewellery, cell phones and fled in the victims’ maroon Toyota Tazz with registration number CBP 199 L, Otto said.
She said no shots were fired and nobody was injured during the robbery.
“No arrests have yet been made and anybody who might spot the vehicle is requested to contact Lt. Col Ngobeni on 082 451 7181 or Capt. Notwana on 082 469 0900,” Otto added.
