Statement following the meeting of the Extended Provincial Executive Committee of the ANCWL held the 10th  November 2017

The Extended Provincial Executive Committee (PEC of the African National Congress Women’s League in Limpopo met on Friday, 10th November 2017 at Frans Mohlala House at 16h00. The PEC meeting was convened primarily to deal with the ANC elective Conference nomination process.

The ANCWL in Limpopo is pleased to inform members of the media and its members that, after a robust discussion, using the ANC’s Through the eye of needle as a guiding tool, we have nominated the following comrades as cadres who are best to lead the Radical Economic Transformation agenda now. The Top Six is as:

President: Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma
Deputy President: DD Mabuza
National Chairperson: Nathi Mthethwa
Secretary General: Ace Magashule
Deputy Secretary General: Jessie Duarte
Treasure General: Maite Nkoana-Mashabane.

The following soldiers in Women’s struggle were nominated as additionals :

The ANCWL in Limpopo move beyond Women’s’ struggle and nominated the following male comrades as cadres who are committed to the Radical Economic Transformation Agenda and the list is as follows:

The ANCWL in Limpopo will engage and lobby other provinces and we are confident that the names as nominated will make it to the final list which will be submitted by the ANCWL after its National Executive Committee Meeting.
